April is Child Abuse Prevention Month
Blue PINWHEELS are the national symbol for child abuse and neglect prevention. The pinwheel represents the happiness and whimsy of childhood, and it speaks to our belief that every child in our community deserves the opportunity to thrive – which starts in a safe and permanent home. The mission of Champaign County CASA is to stand up for children in the court system who have experienced abuse and neglect. It is our ultimate goal to give them hope and help them be kids again. These kids are Our Kids, and we all have a role in keeping them safe.
