The nation’s oldest and largest membership-based child welfare organization, the Child Welfare League is committed to engaging people everywhere in promoting the well-being of children, youth, and their families, and protecting every child from harm.

Illinois Attorney General
The Office of the Attorney General is committed to making sure our children are able to grow up in a safe community. As part of this commitment, the office has established the Youth Advocacy Initiative—a project that focuses on juvenile justice and youth advocacy—and a number of programs, including “Surf Safe: Navigating the Hidden Dangers of the Internet” and a teen dating violence education campaign.

Illinois CASA
Illinois CASA provides leadership and support in the development and growth of local programs whose volunteers advocate for the best interests of children in the juvenile court system.

National CASA
The National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association speaks for the best interests of abused and neglected children involved in the juvenile courts. Working with state and local CASA and volunteer guardian ad litem programs, National CASA promotes and supports quality volunteer advocacy to help assure each child a safe, permanent, nurturing home.

Along with providing leadership for CASA programs across the country (also known as volunteer guardian ad litem programs), National CASA stages an annual conference, publishes a quarterly newsletter, and promotes CASA through public relations efforts. National CASA offers consultation and resources that help start CASA programs and provides vital assistance to established programs.

United Way of Champaign County
With a mission “to strengthen our community through leadership in mobilizing resources to meet the human care needs in Champaign County,” United Way serves as a community partner with Champaign County CASA.
